Feast
of the White Rabbit
It
is early spring and with the increase of warmth plants come forward
from the earth. The Good life is upon us.
|
|
method:
Originally
this image looked very different and consisted of layers of fractals
only. In the Easter holidays 2004 I had the idea to superimpose a
tree into the composition and it became a completely different thing
altogether. easter 2004

A
Magic Lamp
A
Solar Goddess to celebrate the solstice. Here she is contained within
the vessel.
|
|
Solar
Mum
In
this version the sun goddess has come out from behind the clouds to
feed us golden light. |
 |
Both
images have the same roots - fractals. Solar Mum is a further developed
version. These goddesses were created on the eve of the 21st june
2004.

Fractal Goddess
Generating
a certain fractal formula contains within twin circular images, often
inside the same sphere or oval. These distinctly remind me of a set
of ovaries with eggs in various states of ripening or movement (colour
cycling will reveal these). Superimposing several of these adds up
to the goddess' eyes.
|
|
With
some fractals it is easy to seperate the colours onto several layers.
Then effects can be added to each to add 3D effects to all components
and to create textures. When layering several overlapping images levels
of blend can be created by changing the ink properties in photoshop..
